About Aaron

Aaron grew up singing in children’s choirs and singing solos from the age of 4. He began studying drum set at the age of twelve, preparing to pursue a career as a studio drummer, playing rock and pop music.  His musical flame bent toward many genres while in high school, taking him from rock to funk, gospel and jazz, and from jazz to classical and marching music, serving as his school’s percussion captain and a frequent honor band member.

While in High School, Aaron marched with the Sacramento Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps and led the Woodcreek H.S. Winter Percussion ensemble to become the 2006 NCBA Amateur Division Champions. While in college, Aaron taught marching percussion at both McNair H.S. and Galt H.S., the latter of which won 1st place in the NCBA Winter Percussion Novice Division Championship.

Aaron entered college as a Jazz Studies major, planning to become a jazz professor, then changed his major to Music Management and began studying guitar, voice, and piano  to better prepare himself for full-time music ministry.  This course of study gave Aaron quality conservatory training in music and added instruction in the legal and organizational considerations for leading a music program.  Aaron is continuing his education, completing work toward a Master of Arts degree in Worship Studies, with an emphasis in Leadership, at Liberty University.

Aaron has been teaching privately since 2007 in Stockton and Roseville, CA.
